Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey has hinted on social media that he could be fit to take on Brentford in the Premier League this weekend.
Ahead of the game, Villa boss Unai Emery revealed that both Bailey and Youri Tielemans are doubts for Sunday afternoon’s game at the G-Tech Community Stadium after missing this week’s Europa Conference League clash against Zrinjski. It’s a game where Villa will be looking to make it three wins in a row and maintain their challenge towards the top of the Premier League.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday , Emery said that decisions still had to be made ahead of the game on the availability of players. "Today is a really difficult day for us to know how we can face on Sunday against Brentford because some players they are a bit tired and some players have injuries. Tomorrow we will know how they will be for Sunday, whether they will be available or not.

"It is very important to rest, all we can do is rest. Tomorrow we will prepare the match. Sunday will be a challenge for us and we are motivated. The players are ready in their mind being aware about how we can play on Sunday and the possibility to keep a good position in the table.
"Tielemans and Bailey are both doubts. Olsen is out. Traore is out and we have two players suspended, Lucas Digne and Douglas Luiz. The players that played yesterday, we are going to wait for tomorrow."
Bailey has now hinted that he could be available. On his Instagram story, the winger has posted a picture which appears to show him in training ahead of the game.
He was taken off at half-time of the 1-0 win over Arsenal last weekend after providing an assist for John McGinn’s winner. Should he be available against Brentford it would be a big boost, as the Jamaican international has been in brilliant form with three goal contributions in his last three games, including scoring the winner against Man City.
