Bridgwater Swimming Club confirm captains for upcoming season – Bridgwater Mercury

BRIDGWATER Swimming Club has announced and confirmed the club captains for the upcoming season in the pool.
To start, Freya Jennings has been promoted to club captain after continuing to impress with her leadership qualities and performances in the pool.
Phoebe Wright has been promoted to girls captain while Theoni Kane will join the captains line up as girls vice captain.
Will Robins and Michal Lyjak will continue in their roles as boys captain and vice captain respectively.
The club has confirmed there will also be new peer leadership roles which will be announced at a later date.
A spokesperson said: “Congratulations to the captains. We are sure everyone will get behind them in making great memories this season.”
One of the new captains, Theoni Kane is organizing a sponsored swim on Thursday September 14, in memory of Debbie Robins who was a valued committee member at the club.
All proceeds will go to St Margaret’s Hospice which was a great support to Debbie and her family.
