THE process of funding for the redevelopment project of the Banagher Outdoor Swimming Pool on the banks of the River Shannon is still in progress.
And this is a timely reminder that the nameplate initiative is still open for any people wishing to join and who would like to support the project.
The nameplates, which are proving to be very popular, will be a permanent fixture around the finished swimming pool, and will serve as a timely reminder in the years to come as a show of support by the local community in the redevelopment of this very popular and widely used local amenity.
Names plates cost €100 and interest can be registered by emailing banagherpool@outlook.com , connecting with the Facebook page Banagher Shannon Bank Park or also messaging the Instagram page @banaghershannonbankpark .
