Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre reopens after extensive … – Manchester City Council

Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre reopened on 12 August, following the completion of its multi-million investment from Manchester City Council.  
The centre reopened its doors to residents today following its long-anticipated refurbishment. The significant revamp has transformed the Abraham Moss centre’s leisure and library facilities into a bustling and residential hub. Where, residents can have access to essential, state of the art services all in once place, in the heart of their communities.   
Abraham Moss Leisure Centre now boasts a six-lane swimming pool, learner pool, steam room and sauna, two squash courts, health and fitness suites, (including gyms and studios), sports hall and changing facilities. The Centre will also home the new, state of the art indoor cricket facilities and become the very first Indoor Urban Cricket Centre in the city.  
Abraham Moss Library offers a welcoming space for the community complete with free high quality Wi-Fi, new books, self-issue facilities and a diverse range of events for people to enjoy. The new, open plan library is open to all residents who register for free with the library and will be open 7 days a week.  
The refurbishment of Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre is part of an ongoing sport and leisure investment strategy implemented by Manchester City Council. Leisure facilities and libraries across the city are being modernised so they can be better equipped to suit the needs of residents.
